GOD IS REAL.HIPHOP IS EVIDENCE OF GOD'S REAL EXISTENCE AND LOVE

   You cannot mention black history and fail to mention HIP HOP. They are inseparable.As much as black man tries to maneuver through mental and physical slavery subjected to him by the system,he also had to search for a source of freedom.Freedom that comes from within and its not compromised by any means.In fact the type of freedom that a black man yearned for was divine,sacred and can only be explained by a black man himself.Many people have tried to understand the depth of this freedom but they have failed in one way or another.It is through this mystery that a black man had to invent HIP HOP culture.They found solace in it and they could express themselves without limits or boundaries whatsoever.In fact HIP HOP didn't give a black man freedom,it was freedom by itself.It gave them identity and a place to call home. Contrary to popular believe that hip hop was invented by godfathers like DJ COOL HERC and AFRIKA BAMBAATA,HIP HOP invented them and they appreciated its styles and elements of which they later introduced to black men through breaking,deejaying,graphitti writing and emceeing.There is no one who can claim to own HIP HOP culture.The activities of black men of influence like Malcom X,Luther,Harriet Tubman,Muamar Gaddafi e.t.c. are true manifestation of HIP HOP in their life and they had unwavering faith in their people.Basically HIP HOP is LOVE.HIP HOP is not RAP MUSIC. in fact real HIPHOPPAS use rap music to talk about self development and inner growth of black men as opposed to how they have accumulated wealth through antisocial means like drugs and murder.Those who find pleasure in murder are not doing HIPHOP and the culture does not recognize them!In THE GOSPEL OF HIP HOP ,KRS ONE says:
       'we are humbled before God the author of HIPHOP.Other cultures and nations were created for other reasons and have other certain responsibilities  that they must adhere to.Other cultures have grace over their communities and were not authorized,nor do we encourage to demean or to disrespect in any way the faith and/or religious practices of others.
       But as for us,as for our group commonly known in the world as HIP HOP ,this gospel acknowledges and celebrates the love that has saved our people from self destruction.It is time to repent and grow up!Rapping about crime and murder may sound good amongst those who have never commited such acts but for those of us who are REAL IN THE FIELD,we send this message to young people -YOU DONT REALLY WANT IT.'
